Fettler (Night Shift)

Location: Wingfield, SA

Length of Assignment: Ongoing, immediate start

Pay Rate: $39.59/hour

Roster/Hours: Monday to Thursday, Night Shift 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fettler for an indoor role focused on finishing castings and preparing components for production.

Key Duties:



Use hand grinders and machine grinders to smooth castings



Perform fettling operations and general finishing



Inspect manufacturing parts and trim knobs



Use chisels and air cutters safely



Work with high-temperature materials and components



Stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity



Lift items up to 20kg

Requirements:



No mandatory licenses or tickets required



Able to work night shifts and stand for long durations



Experience using hand tools and performing finishing/fettling work is advantageous

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):



Steel cap boots



Hi-Vis long shirt (non-reflective)



Work pants
